This yummy breakfast (like most of my recipes) was a happy accident one morning when we were out of eggs, bread, and cereal, so I needed to find something else to fill me. So I went to the fridge, grabbed some yogurt, topped it with some strawberries, a Mamma Chia packet, and granola, and it became one of my favorite breakfasts!
I love this breakfast because it is quick, easy, and packed with nutrition. This recipe calls for a Mamma Chia packet, which can be found in the organic section of most grocery stores (or by clicking here on Amazon), but plain chia seeds will work just fine as well! If using plain chia seeds be sure to let them sit in the yogurt for a few minutes before eating so they can soften up. It is essential for chia seeds to sit and soften (called “gelling”) as that is what makes them so filling!

A healthy, quick, and nutritious breakfast packed with fiber, protein, and omega 3s. This strawberry greek yogurt chia bowl will leave you satisfied and ready for the day!
- 1 cup strawberry greek yogurt (or whatever yogurt you prefer)
- ½ packet Mamma Chia Blackberry Bliss (or plain chia seeds)
- 5 medium strawberries, sliced
- 2 tbsp granola
Place all ingredients into bowl, mix it up, and enjoy!
If using regular chia seeds, I recommend letting the seeds sit in the yogurt for bout 5 minutes before eating so they have time to soften.
